NFL Draft picks by team: Full draft results for all 32 franchises in 2020

first_imgWhen NFL Draft picks are originally distributed, every team gets one pick in each of the seven rounds. But that’s before trades involving NFL Draft picks are made and before 32 compensatory draft picks are awarded. So instead of a clean seven picks per team in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Dolphins, for example, entered the process with 14 selections, and the Saints had just five. This is part of the reason 2020 NFL Draft picks will be more crucial for some teams than others, though all 255 picks this year will impact all 32 teams in some way. MORE 2020 NFL DRAFT:Full results | Team-by-team grades | Winners & losersThis year, the 32 compensatory draft picks, slotted between Rounds 3-7, were distributed among 15 different teams. (A team losing more or better compensatory free agents than it acquires in the previous year is eligible to receive compensatory draft picks.) The Patriots, who lost seven of those free agents and gained just one last year, received the most comp picks with four.As the 2020 NFL Draft plays out, we’re keeping track of all 255 picks and logging team-by-team results in real time.
