Nokia has yet to deliver a Windows Phone with the same crazy PureView camera featured on its 808. That may be changing soon, if these leaked images of the Nokia EOS are an accurate sign of what’s to come.A flood of photos have leaked out from multiple sources that show a Lumia-esque phone with an 808-style camera hump. On this freshly-leaked design, however, the bump has been molded into a nice, smooth circle — giving the phone’s back a look that’s very similar to a point-and-shoot digital camera.Next to the opening for the PureView camera sits a Xenon flash, and the tandem will no doubt provide similar results to the 808. That’s a good thing for smartphone shoppers who want a good shooting experience. Respected photo blogs that reviewed the 808 were generally quite impressed with its camera — going so far as to say that the Nokia blows other phones out of the water. For those who were wondering, it does look like Nokia plans on offering the EOS in the usual array of company colors. WPDang scored images of a bright yellow unit that wasn’t fully assembled. There are a lot of questions that still need to be answered about the EOS, of course. You’d hope, for example, that Nokia isn’t going to go with that middling 360 x 640 pixel display again. A faster, multi-core processor would be nice, too, as would Windows Phone… particularly if the rumored Instagram app does make its debut on June 26 at Build.
